Symptoms: The apps icons will disappear. When you go to the game store, it will show you the ‘install’, which suggests that applications are hidden (if not uninstalled) of the unit. Any other method, such as using the app uninstaller option also demonstrates the application does not work. Once you type in the ‘install’, error 505 occurs.

Cause: Nothing is known yet, but incompatibility issues are reported to be the main cause of the occurrence of error 505 for applications based on Air. The inconsistent application version and therefore hidden seems to be logical.

Solution: After you update your Android device to Android 5.0 Lollipop from an earlier version using OTA (over-the-air) update or image factory sideloading, do a factory reset. It was discovered that if you do a factory reset immediately after updating your version of Android, the error does not occur, but if you do not make the error persists. Do not forget to empty it as cache(for google play store error 505 fix), going to Menu⇒ Settings⇒ Apps⇒ Google Play Store⇒ Clear cache. Clear data too, the same option.

If the error persists after the reset after update, or if you have not reset your device and use the suffering of updates, you can try following method. If you use the  Adove Air 15 release, and it shows the error, try using Adobe Air 14 and create the APK with captive runtime. This will most likely help you solve your problem.
If you are familiar with the Android Debug Bridge, use it to uninstall the applications (if they are just hidden and not uninstalled), and then try to install the application again from the Play Store. [Useful for you :. How to install Android Debug Bridge (ADB)]
