The past year, WhatsApp has published a new blue tick “double function which allows users to know if their messages have been read or not. The blue tick appears when your message has been read by the recipient. In a discussion group, the check marks turns blue when all participants in the group has read your message. While it is easy to know if your message has been read in the individual messaging, it’s just a little difficult to know who has read and jumped into the group messaging.

If you want to know if a particular person has read the message or not in the group, this is how you can find out.
- Go to your WhatsApp..
- Go on any group chat.
- Tap and hold your sent message button, a slid menu will pop up at the top of the phone screen . Then click on ‘(i)’ (information) symbol menu.
- Now you can view the list of members who has read a message in the “Read by” option.
- For those who have not yet read your message will be listed in “Delivered” section.
